About Me

I have a degree in Marketing and worked as a Client Service Director in international advertising agencies in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. After my son was born in 2005, I retrained as a teacher for German and French as a Foreign language in Oxfordshire, where I taught in prestigious boarding schools for nine years. I graduated at Oxford Brookes in 2022 with a Master in Education, specialised in the topic of multilingualism. Since we moved back to the south of Stuttgart in 2021, I am teaching as a private language coach for adults and bilingual children. My academic article from my thesis about the Beliefs and Knowledge of content teachers in Secondary Schools in Germany was published in the Bilingualism Matters special edition in 2023. I am multilingual myself and have a great understanding of the learning journey of bi- or multilingual people and am passionate about supporting children and their teachers in achieving proficiency in German to ensure they can reach their educational potential in all their languages.
